This year we began learning about coding after school in the library with the help of Girls Who Code. The program focuses on coding, friendship, team building, and forming supportive relationships with others. Lifting each other up and learning together has been a wonderful journey for our students and staff. We are excited to continue this program next year. Our Girls Who Code program with Mrs. Cottrell runs simultaneosly with our Guys Coding Club that is run by Mr. Ingalls. His club has been working through code.org and creating amazing programs together. Having two clubs means we have been able to serve twice as many kids. The past few weeks we have been combining clubs and the students have begun teaching each other.
