Hello Sam Case Families! Our Sam Case Virtually (referred to as Comprehensive Distance Learning or CDL) schedule is here. It is very very close to our hybrid schedule (but is not identical). We are working as a West Area to finalize transportation times so that we are aligned when the time comes to move to hybrid learning safely. That means the start/end times are placeholders until we finalize with First Student Bus Company. We want our schedule to reflect as closely as possible the hours that families will experience when we return to hybrid.

You will see that there are times during the Sam Case Virtually schedule where students need to be able to access the LIVE instruction with the teacher. There are also times where students will have independent work that may not require screen time or they may need to participate in small group instruction with the teacher, the Title I Reading Teacher, Resource Room Teacher, Speech Teacher, or other learning specialists. For each subject area, the first half of the time slot will be live with the teacher (and these are recorded and no longer than 30 minutes each) and the second half of the subject time slot will be practice on your own. Teachers will be available online during practice time for support if students and families choose this help. Live with the teacher videos will be uploaded by 4 pm each day.

¡Hola familias de Sam Case! Nuestro horario de Sam Case Virtually (conocido como aprendizaje a distancia integral o CDL) está aquí. Está muy, muy cerca de nuestro horario híbrido (pero no idéntico). Estamos trabajando como un Área Oeste para finalizar los horarios de los autobuses, de modo que estemos alineados cuando llegue el momento de hacer una transición segura al aprendizaje híbrido. Eso significa que las horas de inicio / finalización son marcadores de posición hasta que terminamos con First Student Bus Company. Queremos que nuestro horario refleje lo más fielmente posible las horas que las familias experimentarán cuando regresemos al híbrido.

Verá que hay momentos durante el horario de Sam Case Virtually en los que los estudiantes necesitan poder acceder a la instrucción EN VIVO con el maestro. También hay ocasiones en las que los estudiantes tendrán trabajo independiente que puede no requerir tiempo frente a la pantalla o pueden necesitar participar en la instrucción en grupos pequeños con el maestro, maestro de lectura de Título I, maestro del salón de recursos, maestro del habla u otros especialistas en aprendizaje. Para cada área temática, la primera mitad de la franja horaria será en vivo con el profesor (y estos se registran y no más de 30 minutos cada uno) y la segunda mitad de la franja horaria de la asignatura será práctica por tu cuenta. Los maestros estarán disponibles en línea durante el tiempo de práctica para brindar apoyo si los estudiantes y las familias eligen esta ayuda. Los videos de Live with the Teacher se cargarán a las 4 pm todos los días.
